Waters of Hope

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

A group of bikers is touring the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri to raise money for clean water projects in the Sudan and Swaziland.  They’re starting their ride tomorrow morning, and will come stay in Kirksville on Tuesday night.  They’ll be fed some Covert Cupboard scones and granola in the morning before they head off to Columbia.  So be on the look out for a group of riders with a good cause.  Check out their website at www.watersofhope.org.

Farewell, Brett

As for us, why would we ever want to miss another beautiful Kirksville summer?

The pre-order form is up for this coming Saturday, so be sure to reserve your bread before it’s all gone!

The Kirksville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Taste of Home Cooking show tomorrow, and Truman’s Small Business Office, who helped get us up and running, will be there with 200 of our granola bars to give away.  So, if you haven’t tried our infamous granola bars yet, get a ticket for the event and sh
